Privacy Policy
The short version: our tools run in your browser, we don’t sell your information, and we collect as little as we can.

Our beauty tools
The Skin Type Quiz, Face Shape Finder and Hair Type Finder work entirely in your web browser. Your answers are never sent to our servers or stored by us. When you finish a tool, the page address may include your result (for example, ?result=dry) so you can bookmark or share it. That address contains only the result, never your answers, and you decide whether to share it.
When you contact us
If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use this only to read and reply to your message. Contact-form messages are sent to our email inbox; they aren’t stored in a website database. We keep emails only as long as we need them to respond and follow up.
To prevent spam, the contact form temporarily keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, which is automatically deleted within about an hour. Please don’t send medical details or other sensitive information through the form.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit, in server logs. This helps keep the site secure and working properly. We don’t use it to identify you.
Cookies
Loviax doesn’t currently set any cookies for analytics or advertising. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we’ll update this policy first and explain your choices.
Links to other websites
Our pages may link to other websites, including retailers. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave Loviax. If we add affiliate links, clicking one may allow the retailer or affiliate network to set cookies to track the referral. Our affiliate disclosure explains how that works.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t share it for advertising. We may share information only with service providers that help us run the site (such as our web hosting and email provider), or if we’re required to by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, including certain US states, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. To make a request, email hello@loviax.com. We’ll respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children
Loviax is intended for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if our practices change, for example if we add analytics, advertising, a newsletter or affiliate links, and change the “last updated” date above.
